Suvarnadurg Fort
Suvarnadurg Fort, also known as Harnai Bunder, lies off the beautiful Harnai coast. It is a small sea port built by great emperor Shivaji to effectively counter the attacks by Sindhis. Of late the fort had been converted to a ship building port in Maharashtra.
The Fort was exceptional in its appearance; most of the parts are in ruins. It brings the remembrance of the construction abilities of Maratha architects. It is a fort visited by many tourists, especially those who are fond of architecture, history and archeology
Siddhi Vinayak temple
Siddhi Vinayak temple near Harnai is located in Dapoli town. It is an ancient famous temple built around Madhavarao Peshwa period in 18th century with the prime deity as the Lord Ganesh and the Ganesh idol made out of marble is very attractive.
Siddhi Vinayak temple is placed on a high mount, about 250 steps to be covered to reach the temple premises. It encloses a stone staircase and a big hall with many pillars and a dome. A lake in front of the temple adds its attraction.
The Vinayak chaturthi festival here is mesmerizing with religious rituals and celebrations. The local populace, irrespective of cast and creed, celebrates this great occasion of Maghi Chaturthi day with much fanfare and enthusiasm. The procession associated with the chaturthi day is highly attractive and eye feasting.
Harnai beach
A very quiet beach, highly attractive for meditation, Harnai beach is renowned as the gateway romantic beach in Harnai. The inflows of the tourists are growing multitudes year by year in this unspoiled beauty of nature.
This beach is famed for its clean softy shores and safe waters for fun filled activities as well as for swimming. The palm trees lined up adds a scenic natural greenish background for the calm beach. Durgadevi Temple
Durgadevi Temple, a renowned temple in the Konkan belt, is located nearby Harnai beach in Ratnagiri district of the state of Maharashtra. The temple is dedicated to Durga Devi, who is supposed to be the Goddess Mother. The temple is assumed to be built way back in 18th century.
The temple is attracted for its unique architectural style. The temple has beautifully carved 28 wooden pillars. There is a cool water pond behind the temple used for the temple rituals. The grandeur entrance is adorned by a large bell, believed to be brought from a church by the Great Maratha warrior Chimaji Appa after winning the war of Vasai. The temple is visited by many devotees regularly.

Ladghar is a beautiful place that is increasingly becoming popular because of its nice beach and an unspoiled landscape that will refresh and rejuvenate your entire being. This beach is also known as "Tamas Teertha" because some parts of the sea appear to be red in colour. This beach has a religious significance therefore bathing here is an attraction big time. It's also a great spot for swimming, either in the sea or in the adjacent area where a river empties into the sea. Some part of beach is covered with coloured pebbles and boulders, creating a beach-rock collector's paradise. For those wanting a more strenuous walk this is a spectacular piece of coastline because this area is undeveloped, and has an untouched feel and is beautiful around sunset.
Ladghar - The area from where the sunset can be seen is a breathtaking beautiful, especially when the beach, sea and the horizon get bathed in numerous shades of red. One can also engage oneself in dolphin watching trip in boats. This beach has the two beautiful, ancient temples - one of Lord Shiva known as "Veleshwar" and other of Lord Datta situated on a small hill. One can take a 15 min beach walk on the north side to reach this beautiful Datta temple. Ladghar beach is a small stretch of beach seperated from Karde beach by a rocky stretch. The northern end of Ladghar is the rocky stretch with finer sand and the southern side has more coarser sand and the beach extends on to Burundi. There is a 'Dutta mandir' atop the hillock on the northern end of Ladghar beach. Parasailing and water sports like water scooters is available in Ladghar and is very popular with holidayers in Ladghar.
